I stared at the camera pointed at me and Vincent and groaned aloud. This night had gone to hell and then some.
And if Zack didn’t stop flashing his maniacal grin my way, I was going to kill him. I didn’t have to hear his taunting voice to know what he was thinking. Once again, he’d zeroed in on this thing between me and Vincent and had the idea whirling in his head about it being a part of the show.
Why the hell was everyone else so easily throwing caution to the wind? Why were they not worried what the truth would do to everything I’d built?
“Look, Vincent. I am not saying I don’t want to talk to you, because I do, but your timing couldn’t be worse.”
“Why? Because of the cameras? I don’t give a shit about that right now. We can take care of it later. I care about what you are thinking. Everything else can wait.”
